How to Unblock Someone on Facebook
-
Open Facebook: Log in to your Facebook account using your username and password.
-
Navigate to Settings: Click on the small arrow icon in the top-right corner of the Facebook homepage. This will open a dropdown menu. From the menu, select "Settings & Privacy" and then click on "Settings."
-
Access Blocking Settings: In the left-hand column of the Settings page, locate and click on "Blocking." This will take you to the Blocking settings page.
-
Find Blocked Users: Scroll down the Blocking settings page until you reach the "Block users" section. Here, you'll see a list of people you have blocked on Facebook.
-
Unblock User: Find the person you want to unblock from the list. Next to their name, you'll see an "Unblock" button. Click on this button.
-
Confirm Unblocking: A confirmation dialog box will appear, asking if you're sure you want to unblock the person. Click "Confirm" to proceed with unblocking them.
-
Verification: After confirming, the person will be unblocked immediately. You may need to refresh your Facebook page for the changes to take effect.
Once you've completed these steps, the person you've unblocked will be able to see your posts on Facebook again, send you friend requests, and interact with you on the platform as usual. Keep in mind that unblocking someone does not automatically add them back to your friends list if you previously unfriended them. If you want to reconnect with them as friends, you'll need to send them a friend request or accept any friend requests they send you.
